- ASADA
- Australian Sports Anti-doping Authority - the Australian Government Authority responsible for overseeing drugs related matters in sports. Offers information and advice to athletes and support personnel as well as administering drug testing.
- ASDMAC
- Australian Sports Drug Medical Advisory Committee - a committee made up of medical specialists who advise the Australian sporting community on issues relating to the use of medications in sporting events.
- IF/ISF
- International Federation/ International Sporting Federation - any internationally registered sporting body.
- NSO
- National Sporting Organisation - any nationally registered sporting body.
- TUE
- Therapeutic Use Exemption - an approval to use a prohibited medication whilst participating in a sporting contest.
- WADA
- World Anti-Doping Authority - the organisation that sets the world standards for Anti-Doping policy
