ASDMAC is the Australian body that gives approval for athletes to use prohibited medications for legitimate therapeutic purposes, in addition to other functions.
Our goal is to provide timely, efficient and accurate advice to Australia's sporting population.
Our role is to provide specialist information with regards to drugs in sport and to assess applications for Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs).
2012 Prohibited List kicks off 1 January
On 1 January 2012, the new Prohibited List comes into effect. Changes could affect you, so remember it is your responsibility to stay informed.

Christmas and New Year shutdown
The Australian Sports Drug Medical Advisory Committee (ASDMAC) will be closed for normal business for nine days over the Christmas and New Year holidays.
ASDMAC’s last day of normal business will be Friday, 23 December.
The office will re-open on Tuesday, 3 January 2012.
